It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these. Seems like everyone kinda went in a blog slump during the holidays and we’re all emerging like the sun from the fog over the North Shore mountains. I know, how lovely and picturesque:

Running 22.5 kms (at least) a week, Wyn contines to be a running (and ballroom dancing machine) making me feel really bad about considering my 20 minute walk to work ‘exercise’.

Speaking of running, Degan is looking for donations while training for the Joints in Motion marathon/half marathon to benefit Arthritis research.

Loxy describes the high and low, low points of going through a Sportsnet broadcasting seminar and the challenges of being a girl trying to make it in the manly realm of sportscasting.

Finally, Rilah Rumbles writes an open letter to a disrespectful woman who wants to mother all the children of the world because she thinks she can do better. New mothers always love getting unsolicited advice from strangers, especially when it’s completely irrational.
