I take the camera and usually go early on a Saturday or Sunday morning where the fog is just lifting and the various animals are just waking up. I've been able to take picture of Trumpeter Swans, Snow Geese, Birds of Pray, and even Seals! The walk around the end of the Burrard Inlet is great. I like the wooden board walk over the marsh area, and when the tide is out, walking out to the old cannery is pretty cool too. I've gotten pictures of a family of Otters that live there actually. The trail around starts from the Marina at Rocky Point and is abuot 2 - 2.5 Km to the beach on the other side. I love Rocky Point it is one of my favorite walks in the Lower Mainland. Have driven by it and haven't figured out where to park. It surely looks like it will beat Iona Beach which I find too far from the action (airport and planes landing) to be as fun!
