What you forgot to mention is that Molson costs $6, and for just $.25 more, you can drink quality Sleeman's Honey Brown. Swanky!

I was in Vancouver during the lockout season and saw a couple of Giants games since the canucks weren't playing. Great games of hockey and the Colisseum was still a cool venue. When I was there they weren't smacking humans into bowling pins between periods though, I think they had pee-wee leagues playing. Was ace to see 5 year old (or maybe even younger) kids bumblebeeing around the rink.

I miss the Voodoo! So many kids out for fast and entertaining hockey ... and the prices were reasonable. Too bad they didn't play in Pacific Coliseum ...

Although I can't see myself dropping the Canucks cold turkey, it's tough to shell out $100+ to have the opportunity to watch them play from the "cheap" seats. Further complicating matters is the fact that acquiring a ticket is just as tough (I was fortunate to get tix to 4 games this season when they went on sale to the masses).

Anywho, I may soon find myself supporting the Giants even more as I've never really seen a "boring" game at the Coliseum win or lose, while the same can not be said about the Canucks. And the on-ice bowling promo is definitely mint.
