It could be suggested or brought up at a meeting, I don’t want to step on any toes because I do really like the meetups. The main this is just getting the message and event details out to potential participants and I think Facebook is ideal for that, even Upcoming.org as well – they’re both free and you can link to the event pages.

Good links and great post, Rebecca! I wonder if people will ever feel less fear of hugs… I wear my Ok! button most of the time and still, some people seem afraid of talking to me on the street (although, for that matter, I always make a point of trying to chat someone up).
