Thanks for the link to the Tourism Vancouver blog–the content looks pretty good. That said, why the heck didn’t they get you to write it (instead of some media relations hack)?

And I hate to be this guy, but how can you run a blog in 2007 and not have an RSS feed. I’m pretty sure that site isn’t powered by any blogging software–it’s just some static pages that look bloggy.
