And regarding Google&#039;s barcode stuff: it&#039;s interesting, but not especially revolutionary. The Japanese have been using barcodes embedded in advertisements for years. Given the choice between bootstrapping something based on new barcodes that aren&#039;t currently in use in North America, versus leveraging what&#039;s already out there, I&#039;m choosing to enable people to leverage the stuff that&#039;s already out there.</description>
