Ever since my post this morning I’ve had his music stuck in my head and for those of you who didn’t Google the lyrics, they were from a song by Ray LaMontagne.

I’ve heard a few more of his tunes come up on John’s playlist and even during an episode of one of our favourite shows, Rescue Me.
Ray’s a singer songwriter [wiki] with a soft yet powerful voice, and his lyrics are poetic as they are touching. Here are a few more of his songs:

Definatly one of my favourite artists. Saw him at the Centre of Performing Arts last year (I think).
