I think that if you are going to pitch someone, anyone - whether it's a blogger, other "new" media journalist or a trad. journo, you still have to talk to them like PEOPLE. its about the RELATIONSHIP and always has been. I'm trying really hard not to get on my soapbox here, but it's hard. Flickr also helps professional photographers get their works out in the open. Then you get into <a href="http://www.miss604.com/2006/09/flickr-and-moo.html" rel="nofollow">Moo cards</a>, and then well... the possibilities are endless hehe. I wish i started using it before coding my own blogging script. There are just some aspects of wordpress I haven't been able to replicate (mainly trackbacks) and I wish I could. I haven't used flickr. I tend to post my photos on facebook.
