I only use a category or two, for me I’m more interested in seeing how the tag field feels in the sidebar.

At one stage in development of 2.5 the sidebar moved down the page with the scrolling. I thought that was useful too.

Hi Rebecca (and readers),

An update – Peter Keung has taken the above plugin and my work and made a new plugin which you can get here:

I would recommend non-coder users of WordPress to use the plugin instead because it’s easier and it should be more consistent across different versions.
