I recently saw her on A & E's Live at the Rehearsal Hall - her presence and her voice was simply out of this world. I write the odd music article for the North Shore News and had the privilege of getting her CD Watershed to review. When I wrote the article I was under a press deadline - it was a fair article but I think after more time with the album, it's raised its placement in my iTunes favorites. I have a few friends coming into town from the Okanagan - it would be such a great time to be able to join them! Best regards and luck to everyone! It was just after I heard her for the first time on CBC radio, probably Morningside. She was waiting to be interviewed at a cute little radio staion nestled in the trees above Pigeon Park. I had never seen a women like her before, in her big boots, skirt and cowboy shirt. Right away she was my favourite Albertan. I’ll never forget when I saw kd for the first time.
