E.T. in David Lam Park was awesome. People need to get the word out to the City of Vancouver and show support for these events. The grown ups at City Hall barely allowed it to happen this year because they thought the grass would get messed up.

They have done this for a long time. I remember the days of old… still a really interesting way to watch a movie.

Miss 604,
just stumbled across your site for the first time in researching the gastown shows. i ran an outdoor event company called Summer Sundays between 2002-2004 and our main event of the year was always an outdoor movie screening down by spanish banks in mid-august (grease, ferris beuler’s, back to the future). its nice to see that othere have picked up where we left off. thanks for the great compilation of listings
