Really stoked to see Lucic flourish - when i interviewed him for Canucks Outsider after the Giants won the Memorial Cup, you could tell the guy was oozing those "intangibles" they talk about. I recall ending up in a fancy Massachusetts Bed and Breakfast one December evening around 1991 after a harsh hitchhike up the east coast and found a 'Nucks vs Bruins game on TV. A fine night with a hot bath, thick blankets and a Canucks win in the Berkshire mountains. Sigh ... I’ll be there making a semi-illicit podcast from the stands.
