Fashion, Facials and Photography for a Cure

Local fashion designer Nicole Bridger has just launched online shopping for her collections. “We use fabrics that are from natural and renewable resources. We consider the impact that we have on the earth and do what we can to minimize it. To take care of the earth’s people we help spread the word of love through our affirmation labels ‘I am love’ in each piece of clothing. We are dedicated to contributing to positive change in our modern world.”
On Sunday Keira and I were treated to some spa time over at Zazou in Lynn Valley. They’re located in the new Library Plaza (off Mountain Hwy) and offer a wide range of treatments – from colouring in the hair salon, to massages in the spa. The staff are friendly and professional and their spa is a quiet oasis (although being located in Lynn Valley helps with that as well).
They also use natural products and offer you a “prescription” for skin care items after analysis. It was a really enjoyable afternoon, not to mention super relaxing. Zazou is a nice retreat, and only minutes from home.
Finally, this Wednesday, October 22nd is the launch party for the Put Your Best Breast Forward calendar. Sales will go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. “We’re nine women who are putting together this calendar to raise money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.”

Hi Rebecca,
Thanks so much for posting a little blurb about the calendar. We are very excited for everyone to see it tomorrow! We would love it if you could make it to the launch tomorrow, it should be a great party. : )
Cheers,
