Wednesday Link Fest: Best of 604 Eve Play Along
Really, who would have thought my little idea for a people’s choice award in Metro Vancouver would have taken off as much as it has. There have been almost 5,000 votes so far and 200 people RSVP’d for the Best of 604 awards event tomorrow night. Admission is by (monetary) donation to the Food Bank and we have some great raffle prizes up for grabs.
As I need to be in about three places at once today, I’m going to publish this link fest even though I realize many of my posts lately have contained bullet points. I promise to have a long ranty narrative up once all this is over.

Once I caught up on emails, put finishing touches on some projects, and took Twitter for a spin I decided to look up some music online. I was in the mood for something that was fun, festive, and happy – and to me that could be anything really.

At our wedding, we had Debussy’s Arabesque, which kicks the crud out of Pachabel’s Canon any day. And our ‘song’ is ‘Destiny’ by Zero 7, which was on rotation while we were dating.
Today is also International Human Rights Day … and only like the biggest day of the month… 60th Anniversary of a little thing called the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
Thank you so much for including the Beauty Night link!!! I just caught the link from Raul’s blog. I would love to have you two come by – although I may put you to work as we can always use an extra pair of hands!
