@ Rick – erm, how many blogging conferences are there? I only know of Northern Voice and recently, WordCamp Whistler. Are you aware of any others that we don’t know about? If so, do let us know!

I am thinking maybe Rick thinks that all the tech events that happen in Vancouver are conferences, when there clearly are not.

I’d say it basically comes down to bloggers being poor and unable to travel, so there’s an opportunity for conferences in all localities

@Rick what I don’t get is how in 2009, one would still confuse the medium of a blog with the practice of writing about oneself. There is so much out there, on so many different topics. A blog is just another container for language!
