Yesterday Vancouver lost an icon who helped shape many city skylines. World-renowned architect Arthur Erickson passed away at the age of 84 and included below are some photos I’ve found that capture just some of his influence on our region.

I never studied design, but I did admire what Ericson did at the time. His creations were revolutionary, and especially with SFU in terms of the one unit for all academics. No divisions. I personally enjoyed his design at the MOA. It truly was a sad day when I found out.
