I wouldn't mind converting over when it happens.....

Hey Rob,
I'm both disappointed to hear of your experience at Simply Computing and surprised it made you pack in years of supporting a local business. I would agree the response to your complaint was weak at best but I'm curious about what kind of response you expected? Or what kind of response would have made you stick with Simply Computing?
If you're willing to talk about the issue that took place, I'd be more than happy to listen. Long time customers are not something we enjoy losing. I'd love to win you back.
Yours,
 David Doyle

I have been a customer of Simply's for many years and all of our family have bought computers there for years but a bad experience last year turned me off them. I encountered a very rude and arrogant sales person who claimed the item that I was looking for did not exist. I bought it down the street fifteen minutes later. When I called to explain the situation to the manager his reply was a lame "Yes we are having problems with that employee". Not very professional or satisfying. We now shop at the Apple Store and are very impressed with the courteous and very helpful staff. That you Apple for opening a store in Vancouver.

I'm jealous of all you mac users! Before (because I used to game a lot) macs just weren't enough for me, but these days with coding, photography and the occasional WoW session, a Mac will suit my needs, just not my budget. I miss macs :( My first experience with a mac as an LCIII (68k mac).

I've heard nothing but good things about SimpleComputing, and (if I could afford to) I would definitely purchase a Macbook of sorts from them.

I have always said, ever since my LCIII, if I could afford a Macbook, I would get one. I'm still waiting for that day!

Way to go on the new MBP. I purchased one from Apple back in Dec (the older non-unibody one) and haven't looked back. It's rather weird trying to do Apple keyboard shortcuts when using Windows laptops at work.

I was lucky to have gotten in on that deal too, Paul, when I bought my iMac there. Have had great success there and would recommend them to others in town when considering a Mac purchase. They have good deals on slightly-older models too, from time to time.

These days slightly older can mean less than six months on the market LOL!

i've used simply for years now, every single one of their staff are friendly and courteous - never had a bad experience with them.

not sure if they still do it, but years ago they used to offer applecare refunds - so if you bought applecare from them, didn't use it, you'd get the equivalent of store credit after 3 years.
