Aurora is Tiqa&#039;s grandmother. Qila gave birth to Tiqa last June. The gestational period of a beluga whale is something like 15 months,so if Aurora is due now, she had to be pregnant before the birth of Tiqa.

Besides, the male has been in a different tank since Tiqa&#039;s birth, so I don&#039;t think that either one has had any contact with a male since the birth of Qila.
