Hockey was never a big part of my childhood, and a friend introduced me in High School. I started off by just going to local games, and eventually branched out into the NHL, and even though I've now been watching it for ages, I still love the thrill I get of walking into an arena, or turning on the tv. Well I'm all about hockey!! I was born & raised into a Canuck Fan Family. Grew up watching Stan Smyl, Tiger Williams with the great towel power! I also grew up playing floor hockey in a girls league in Richmond!! Woooooo!! Although I played other sports, Hockey is my #1 and it will always rule in my ? heart ?!! I don't get to many Canucks games in person but when I do go I bring my oldest son as I have passed on the Canuck Fan Family torch on to him! He's 11 and LOVES the Canucks as much as I do!! I'm hoping to start up some friendly games of street hockey with some adults & kids real soon!! Ahh yes 1994 the year we almost won. I will never forget that year as long as I live. lol When will we see that again? This year I hope! It is our turn to bring the cup to Vancouver baby!! GO CANUCKS GO!!!! Favourite aspect of hockey?? Today, I'm riding the wave of having the same last name as one of the Vancouver Canucks and you'll find me cheering loud and proud either at "the garage" or in front of the tv with friends and/or family. Tomorrow is my Dad's 65th birthday and I'm treating him to our favourite pasttime by taking him to a Canucks game. Go Canucks Go!
