We invite you all to the Rick Hansen Wheels In Motion event presented by Scotiabank.

The Vancouver Wheels In Motion event is on June 13 at Hastings Park at Pacific National Exhibition (PNE). Event registration starts at 9:30 am with the opening ceremonies at 10:00 am.

Invite all of your family, friends and even your Facebook friends to join a day of fun and awareness with live entertainment, the wheelchair challenge competition, food and refreshments and tons of other activities.

As well, when you raise a min of $20 for WIM you get a free day pass to Playland!

Did the First Round Bowen Challenge in a double sea kayak, a long but beautiful 34 km paddle around Bowen Island. Probably couldn’t make it under the time limit cutoff these days, but it’s still a great, if more competitive, event.
But it’s not as publicized as it should be. Please consider adding it to your June events:

The 11th Annual Round Bowen (Island) Challenge on June 6, 2010.

Great blog by the way! I have been trying to contact you via the Contact Form, but it keeps on coming up with the error “Contact Form has Invalid Input” so I’m writing my message here.

I was wondering if you could please add to your “June 2010 Events in Vancouver” that June is Portuguese Heritage Month and there are a variety of events hosted in Vancouver this month.
