Hello Rebecca, I noticed you have some free space for Sep 6, 13 and 14.
I would like to suggest to fill it up with activities from the Mexico Fest 2011 as we will have a series of events that start on Sep 7-16 with an exhibition that goes until Sep 14th followed by a Gala Night, etc. to celebrate the Mexican Independence day in Vancouver.

The Latin American Film Festival seems really promising this year and I can’t wait to go to the PNE on Sunday (my first time!).
VCON is a sci-fi/fantasy convention that begins on September 30th. It’s happening at Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel & Convention Centre, 7551 Westminster Highway, Richmond.

Hi, I heard what were fireworks from my apartment, but did not see them. It last for about 15 minutes around 10:00pm in East Van. Do you know what that was ?
