Discovery Channel’s Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage are bringing their myth-busting show on the road and will appear in Vancouver for one night only January 22, 2012 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

“MythBusters: Behind the Myths,” promises to be a fantastical evening of on-stage experiments, audience participation, rocking video and behind-the-scenes stories. For the first time ever, fans will join Jamie and Adam on stage and assist in their mind-blowing and mind-twisting approach to science.
I know that there are quite a few fans out there including our friend John Biehler who, somehow, got the announcer of the show (Robert Lee) to record his own voicemail message.
Aside from their successful show, countless media appearances, and a collection of honorary association memberships, Hyneman and Savage were even hand-picked by the President of the United States to re-test a legend.
Tickets for this unique show will go on sale on November 12, 2011 at 10:00am through Ticketmaster online, by phone, or in person.

Oh boy, my 7 1/2yr old son and I would LOVE to see Jamie and Adam LIVE. He’s been watching the show with me for a few years and loves it.
My son and I love the show! It’s has been an inspiration for my son creating some amazing experiments! One of the experiments being turning plastic into gas!

Fantastic! My 8-year old son is the biggest MythBusters fan I know. He has been trying to convince us to drive down to California next summer so he can see the MythBusters in person. (He seems to think that there is a Disneyland-like destination where you can see larger-than-life Adam and Jamie mascots performing experiments.) If we won tickets to this show he would be over-the-moon.

This is one of my best friend’s favourite shows! She was badly injured in late October by an act of dog. (A friend’s dog took her feet out from under her as he was chasing a ball at the park and she broke her knee, requiring emergency surgery to rapair it. She now has a screw and a plate in her knee and is off work for at least 6 weeks, to recover.) I’d LOVE to win this and take her to go see it, seeing as she’s stuck in a wheelchair for the forseeable future. I know it would really cheer her up. *fingers crossed*

Last time I was in San Francisco I went looking for M5 studios… got lost and ended up in the projects. Thankfully an off-duty bus driver saw me, stopped, and insisted I get on his empty bus so he could get me “back where I belong”… in conclusion… I think I deserve to finally see these guys!
