The London 2012 Olympics hosted their opening ceremony yesterday, welcoming the world to the United Kingdom with tributes to their industrial and cultural history, literature, music, television, film, and even their healthcare. It brought back warm fuzzy feelings from the Vancouver 2010 Olympics hosted here just a few years ago.
