Easter is coming up this weekend and whether you celebrate its religious meaning or simply enjoy those irresistible Mini-Eggs, it’s a great time to get together with family and (hopefully) enjoy some sunshine. There are a few events scheduled around Metro Vancouver to help get in the springtime spirit.

    Township 7 Winery Spring Release & Easter Egg Hunt
    April 24
    On Sunday April 24, we’re holding our fifth annual Easter Celebration at our Langley winery, just a 45 minute drive from Vancouver. Festive Easter activities are being held throughout the afternoon for adults and children including an Easter egg hunt and birdhouse building; wine seminars, new spring wine releases, and live music. Enjoy a picnic with our ready to go basket of charcuterie, local cheeses, and artisanal chocolate by XOXOlat. Partial proceeds from the day’s festivities will be donated to the local charity, Small Animal Rescue Society (formerly BC Rabbit Rescue).     Join us for our first annual Fort Langley National Historic Site Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 24. Bring your own Easter basket and enjoy family fun while scouring the fort for eggs. Regular admission applies. New in 2011, relax and enjoy Easter Brunch at 11:30am and 1:30pm at the Full Barrel Café for just $18. Menu includes ham, scallops, salad and pies.
