Thank you for this wonderful blog! It really is nice to see Miss604 covering such a important and valuable industry. I work in the mining field, and let me tell you… it’s far more interesting than any other field I’ve ever worked in! I work in the head office of a very reputable mining contractor based in Burnaby BC called Procon Mining & Tunnelling. Procon is full of amazing talent and loyal employees who truly value great work ethic and hold their values high amongst the best. The knowledge and years behind the majority of the staff, make working for them so fantastic and rewarding.

BC Mining week is extremely important as the industry is booming, and the manpower is at an all time low. It is a struggle to find skilled workers, and I truly hope that this new generation really thinks about the worth of this industry and its importance to our economy.

Thank you again Miss604 for posting this blog. You did a remarkable job, and hope this really does help spread the awareness to this crucial industry for our economic growth.

    THANK YOU!!!!!

    Karrie
