Squamish is one of my favourite day-trip destinations and this Labour Day long weekend it will be hosting a music festival, Live at Squamish.

Taking place at the Logger Sports Grounds and Hendrickson Fields September 4th and 5th, artists seem to be added to the bill every few days as the impressive entertainment lineup grows.

Here’s who they have on tap so far:

Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, Tony Pantages, Devo, Dirty Vegas, The Tennessee Three, Civil Twilight, The Dudes, The Decemberists, Mother Mother, Tom Middleton, Jon and Roy, Hollerado, Tokyo Police Club, Matthew Good, John Morgan, Bad Religion, Kevin Shiu, We Are The City, Z-Trip, Rich Hope, and The Dirty Heads.

It’s an all-ages show (and children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult) however some area (such as the VIP) are 19+ only. Tickets go on sale this Friday June 25th but if you have access to ClubZone, Georgia Straight, or The Peak VIP mailing lists you may have received a pre-sale promotion code.

You can follow @LiveatSquamish on Twitter for news and updates.

Update I just heard from clubZone that if you purchase your ticket through them you get the following perks: VIP festival entrance (beating the regular lines) and exclusive access to the clubZone VIP dancefloor (the entire front area of the DJ tent).

Update My posts from the soundcheck and Day One, Live at Squamish are now up with photos and tips.
