Add in festival stages, food trucks, crafts, puppets, entertainers, dancers, and you have a really unique and exceptionally fun family festival! John and I stopped by the Richmond Maritime Festival earlier this month and he took some great shots of the festivities:

Stages, workshops, and displays on land were complimented by museum exhibits, roving performers, and ship tours on the river. You could climb aboard a heritage vessel or tall ship, listen to live music, and snack on food truck fare and a salmon BBQ.

What’s Happening Next
The Richmond Maritime Festival is just one of many free family events in the Garden City. The next is the Richmond World Festival coming up September 1-2, 2017 at Minoru Park.
