April Events in Metro Vancouver

Comments 1 by Rebecca Bollwitt

April means flowers, family time, and Earth Day festivals out in the fresh air, like the City of Surrey’s Party for the Planet. There are a lot of Easter Egg Hunts to start the month off on a festive note, and of course the tulip festival in Agassiz that will run through the middle of the month, as long as the weather permits. All this and more is listed below and this list is updated several times a week so if you have an event to add, simply send it in for a free listing.

40 Acres of Tulips
Catch this year’s Tulips of the Valley Festival April 1st to April 12th.

    Hi there,

Kwantlen Polytechnic University is hosting it’s third annual KPU Science Rendezvous & Education Expo on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 11 am to 4 pm on our Langley campus. This event is free to the public and a great event for families! Visitors will enjoy hands-on experiments, lab tours, chemistry magic shows, demos of high-tech patient simulators in the nursing labs, tour modern greenhouses, do arts activities, bug races, and more! As well, there will be live music, a vendor marketplace, cotton candy, popcorn and other treats!

NEW: this is the first time KPU’s brand new state-of-the-art brewing lab will be open to the public for tours! For craft beer enthusiasts, this will be an exciting opportunity to meet our faculty, see our brewing equipment up close and learn about KPU’s brewing program.

We’d like to have the Science Rendezvous & Education Expo event listed on the Miss604 website event listings and are happy to supply more details for you. Below are the basic details:

    Date: Saturday, May 9, 2015
Time: 11 am to 4 pm
Venue: KPU Langley campus | 20901 Langley Bypass | Langley
    Free tickets: http://www.kpu-sr-expo.eventbrite.ca
